Stars added to our banner in memory of lost loved ones. The banner, along with Val, Ann, Sandie and Audra traveled to Washington, D.C. to attend the FedUp and Unite to Fight Addiction Rallys October 3rd & 4th. Rain, wind, and chilly temperatures didn't stop their voices from being heard!
Thanks to our very supportive community, we raised enough money to start and maintain our first three support groups.
Mariah's Mission Fund participated in the gingerbread house competition of Christmas in St. Michaels Weekend. Our entry was a recreation of Ouvert Gallery. We won first place in the non-profit category. Have a look at the making of our gingerbread house here: Smilebox
Hearthstone Health & Fitness teamed up with Belmond and offered four amazing trips in a silent auction held at their member holiday party to "benefit Mariah's Mission Fund, which provides support groups and resources to empower families and individuals struggling with the effects of addiction and substance abuse. This is a growing problem, not only across the country, but right here on the Mid-Shore." Thank you!!
Special thanks to David & Martha Tuthill and Stacie Monz of Hearthstone as well as Hein Olckers and Belmond. We invite you to visit their sites, both on line and in person if you can.
A Candlelight Vigil was held Sunday, December 13, 2015, at Elks Lodge #1622 in Easton, MD. It was a special evening to remember loved ones lost to Substance Abuse/Mental Illness.
